In 1821, First Baptist Church started its ministry in Zanesville on 6th Street. In 2015, the church relocated to the old Maysville School  location in South Zanesville, beginning a new era of ministry and service with and in the community. On June 13, 2021, we celebrated the church's 200th Anniversary. We put documents and memorabilia in a time capsule that has been put in storage, with plans to be opened in 2071 at the 250th Anniversary!
